With Structured 4.4, subtasks are finally supported in your timeline. Simply tap the little arrow next to your subtasks to expand the subtasks in your timeline. You can also check them off here.

Thank you so much for adding subtasks to the Timeline. It’s a great improvement. I’d love an option for subtasks to be visible automatically without needing to tap the expand toggle each time. I often use the main task as a header and add subtasks underneath to group related actions within a single time block, rather than creating separate timed tasks, which can feel like micromanaging. While the current toggle is a nice feature, it still adds a bit of friction when quickly reviewing my day. Seeing subtasks at a glance would make planning and scrolling feel more intuitive, especially for users who rely on visual scanning or want less friction when reviewing their day.

The "holy grail" planner app for me would be one that lets me set zones for each part of my day (work, lunch break, house time, exercise, etc) and then slot in specific things for each zone. This feature + the recurring timeblocks you already offer would make this much easier!

This is how i am using Structured at the moment - pretty much the only app that does this - With Subtasks in timeline view it would be perfect!

    Definitely toggleable though

To avoid clutter perhaps showing a max number of subtasks in timeline view (or giving the user the option to define how many subtasks) and user can touch/click to expand, but seeing the subtasks gives visibility to what needs to be done

Without this visibility subtasks really aren’t that useful. I like the idea of having them toggleable, so that way everybody can have what works for them.

To be able to schedule subtasks directly into timeline (especially for larger To Dos) and schedule regular “breaks” for tasks taking over an hour

This feature would be very helpful for me, cause I find it useful to break things down into smaller tasks, but having to open up the full main task all the time is a nuisance.

I agree with others that a toggle format that can be expanded and collapsed as needed would likely be the best for having both function and minimally intrusive visual clutter.

Or perhaps having only the first 2 or 3 subtasks visible at a time and having them dissappear once they are checked off and be replaced by the next ones on the list, but still having the completed subtasks accessible and viewable within the main task.

the subtasks and their progress need to roll over as a larger project is spread over several days - as it is now, you may schedule out your entire week, pecking away at a larger project with several subtasks, but as you check off your progress, it is not reflected in the task on subsequent days.

The changes are always for ios. The android versions aren't updated that quickly. Changes shouldnt be biased. Either bring it across all os or atleast give a timeline
