Structured💡 Feature Request

When you have unscheduled time, there are currently 2 options (new task or copy task from a different day). It would be cool to have a third option that opens a drop-down list of your inbox tasks (filtered to just tasks that would fit the available time). This could also work well with a different suggested feature (deadlines/due dates in inbox) to order these suggested tasks by due date?

      Oh wow! I might go download and give structured another try now that this essential feature is available. I gave up on structured a long time ago because it was lacking intuitive features such as this.

    I would love to have inbox tasks suggested by default, instead of showing previous tasks which were sometimes one-off

    Can we please get this as the default option? Why wouldn’t we want to fill our unscheduled time with talks from the inbox first?

    Love this idea, it's a no-brainer! I thought the same thing the first time I used this feature. I expected Inbox things to be shown. Was confused by what was shown, and couldn't even find Inbox items in the list.

    I miss this and it severely limits how I can plan my day. I collect all todos in my inbox, and when Inplan a day, I would like to pick them from the calendar view.

    This would make it a 10x more useful, as now I have to go to inbox, pick the right date, find a suitable timeslot etc - a lot of back and forth.

    Rest works really really well, it’s the app I’ve been looking for, and this is my biggest issue.

    This would be huge for me. It was immediately the biggest thing breaking my flow when trying to plan my day. Moving tasks from the inbox to a time slot takes 5+ clicks and going back and forth between screens when it could take 2 clicks from the agenda. Click add task, click on a task from the inbox, done.

      Couldn’t agree more with this! I just started using the app, and this is definitely the biggest drawback.

      It’s so surprising to me that when you click on an open space, it doesn’t pull up an option to add items from your inbox. Likewise, if I click on the next priority item in my inbox, it could list out the next available open time slots. Going back and forth from screen to screen and manually adjusting the date/time certainly hurts the flow and overall efficiency.

      On the web, it’s great that you can see your inbox to the left and your daily timeline on the right- the ability to drag and drop things from the inbox over to the open slots would be great.

    I second this idea! For me the inbox needs to be super easy to add to otherwise it wont capture the full range of outstanding to-do tasks
