Repeat Task Based on Completion Date

At the moment, weekly tasks will repeat on the same weekday, independent of when the task is actually completed. For example, if laundry was done on Monday and the task it is set to repeat on Wednesday, the repeating task’s date will not change.

I would love a way for tasks like these to have the due date be based on the completion date vs. the due date of the task. This would also help with tasks that are due every 2-6 days, since the daily nor the weekly repeat options do not accommodate for that.

    I love this app but this is one of the features which I am missing so much. I have many recurring tasks for house chores (eg. water indoor plants every 4 days, bake bread every 3 days etc) and if I miss one day, it shifts it all. I don't need to water plants 2 days after I did it last time, but it will be programmed.

    would be great to have an option to move those automatically to the next day as well, if not completed (I think it is another topic). then everything will shift, which would be awesome

    +1 this is essential for me and making it difficult to migrate over from ticktick for my housework related tasks

    +1. This would be very useful.
    Maybe even add the option to make weekly/monthly recurring not day of the week specific e.g. I want to cut my hair in 6 weeks, but don't know yet if Mon, Tue, Wed, etc.
