I’d like to show that time is blocked off without having to check off as complete like a task.
To let me focus on things I actually have to do instead of being distracted by background tasks.
I agree it would take some thought to implement without the app looking bulky perhaps instead of it being an “uncheckable task” it could have an option to auto check certain tasks, once time finishes.
I personally prefer more optional inputs/bulkier planning process to create a more clean/seamless experience during the day.
I like the customisation of the app to allow user to pick the simplicity of the display. This could also include an option to opt for a more complex/bulky task input display, if desired by user.

Essential for me! I use time blocking to visualize how much free time I have to do unscheduled tasks and plan them, so i need to be able to block off “sleeping” or “at work”.

Hey! I've heard this before, and we are considering this, but at the same time, we want the app to be simple and this would require an additional field when creating tasks.

Could it be a different type, like “Event” instead of “Task”? Kind of how like the events imported from iOS calendar work, but you can create one yourself
