Structured

In this app, some languages are displayed using automated translation.

As a Japanese user, I’ve noticed that some parts feel a bit unnatural. I assume this might be the case for other languages as well.

However, it would be difficult for the development team to translate every language manually, and hiring a localization company would be costly.

That’s why I believe that if the development team could create a system where community users can voluntarily contribute and suggest translations for their own languages, it would help provide a better experience for users around the world.

    I have to say I’m not happy about the Dutch translation. Was this proofread by a user? The translation quality in some places undermines the fantastic quality of the app.

    Could you fix these?

    Examples:

    • In the focus screen the two buttons at the bottom say something completely different from elsewhere in the app.

      • “Bewerking” is weird, should be “Bewerken”

      • “Compleet” is reeaally weird, should be “Voltooien”

    • In the task quick edit sheet, it says:

      • “Duplicaat”, should be “Dupliceren”

      • “Compleet”, like above, should be “Voltooien”

    • “Bewerken Taak” at the top of the Edit Task list is grammatically incorrect, it should be “Taak bewerken”, with no capitals for the second word.

    • “Nieuw Taak” is grammatically incorrect, it should be “Nieuwe taak”, also with no capitals for the second word.

    • In the AI guided tour, words are capitalized the wrong way:

      • “Versnel Je Planning met Structured AI” → “Versnel je planning met Structured AI”

      • “Genereer Je Schema Automatisch” → “Genereer je schema automatisch”

      • “Digitaliseer Je Analoge Planner” → “Digitaliseer je analoge planner”

    • In Settings > Structured Cloud, it says “Volledig Gesynchroniseerd”. Should be “Volledig gesynchroniseerd”.

    • In Settings > Structured Pro, it says “Je levensplan”, which means “Your life plan”. That’s extremely weird haha. (I have a lifetime plan)

      • It also shows the translation for a different language: “Dine Structured Pro-fordelen”.

    • In Settings > Appearance, it shows that OpenDyslexic is translated. It should not be translated.

    Besides that, can’t complain <3

    Structured is now fully localized by a real proofreader in Japanese.
