Integration with Obsidian Notes

Obsidian, the best up-and-coming note taking app that focuses on linking notes and open-source community-driven development, is becoming a fan favorite app on all platforms. For many, it is an all-in-one place for productivity, as most common apps are beginning to integrate with it.

For Structured to stay on top of this technological wave, they should introduce an API that can integrate with Obsidian and display your day planner within a note, or specifically within a Daily Note (one of the features in Obsidian). Not only will this improve the wellbeing and productivity of Obsidian/Structured users, it will also get Structured’s name in the ring, proving that they are committed to becoming the best day-planner in the modern world.

Logistics:

• The Structured app would need to generate a custom API token associated with an account. (This could open up a TON of potential for expansion on its own).

• The Structured team would need to develop an open-source community add-on in the Obsidian community, integrating Structured style calendars into the vibrant ecosystem (the community is super helpful and constructive. If you express interest, they will definitely help out).

• There would need to be some sort of timer for how often to sync between the apps. This could be a user-defined setting, or it could occur every time a change occurs in the day-planner.

• This would not take away from the Premium service offered by Structured. All of the benefits of Premium are still beneficial, regardless of integration with Obsidian. This feature won’t deter profit, it will actually encourage it, as people are more likely to support a company that flows well with other apps.

I think this feature would be beneficial to a ton of people and bring a lot more followers into the wonderful world of Structured. Let me know what you think!
