Hide completed tasks

I use tasks to help me get ready for work, giving myself a timeframe to do everything. I am a neat freak and I delete each task when I’m done with it because hitting complete doesn’t make it disappear. Please add an option to hide completed tasks, I am shocked It’s not already an option, but I couldn’t find one. I want there to be zero tasks at the end of my day without having to delete them all. Thank you

    I have ADHD and seeing completed tasks makes it difficult to focus on the tasks I still need to do and makes me feel overwhelmed.

    I fully identify with this request.

    There’s no right or wrong—it’s just a matter of visual preference.

    For me, as someone with ADHD, completed tasks still draw my attention and distract me from the agenda.

      We want our users to see what they have accomplished. Moreover, as the timeline is the core of Structured’s design, an empty timeline at the end of the day doesn’t make too much sense. 😊

        That’s ok, since you added the “clear day” option I can easily delete everything later so it’s not annoying anymore. I see your point, I just need it to be empty at the end of the day. On chore/task days if everything isn’t gone at the end of the day that means I failed to do everything.

        I’m not sure… if I’ve completed the task early, I have free time. It makes it look like I don’t because it’s still scheduled. It’s a major complaint that I have with the app. You could have it on by default, but allow people to turn it off to have an accurate view of what they still need to accomplish and the free time they have.

        Maybe conduct a usability study on this?
