I have tasks to do on the last workday/weekday or meetings on every 3rd Tuesday of month (not every Tuesday of the third week), so now I have to add these tasks manually each month. It is very crucial for those who work in big international companies where commonly used such date patterns for meetings. Also, it can be useful for those working in Finance.
The best example is date settings in old Outlook (currently there is no such feature in new Outlook) - you can set almost every date pattern you can imagine.

Is there any update on this request?

Yes. There should be a custom repeat exactly like Apple's Calendar app. And this applies for both Monthly (eg. On the 1st [day] of [month]) and Yearly tasks (eg. Every year on the first [day] of [month] and [month]. Thanks!

Yeah this would be super useful. I'm going to have to plan these in my calendar at the moment to import them as there is not another easy way to do this.
