Being able to create more than 5 alerts for a task, as well as more time options

I found that the current alerts system is somewhat lacking.., it's limited to 2 hours, and I can't add alerts for a task for the day before (1 day alert for example) like in Google calendar for instance. I want to be able to set alerts for up to 24 hours, as well as being able to create as much alerts as I want.
