Awake lives inside Dynamic Island Activity

As the title suggests, it seems like awake app is living as a dynamic island activity.

Current behavior:

Device: iphone 16 pro

Even when closing the awake app (or just exiting it) whenever I press the dynamic island it reopens the awake app, sugessting that it is a live activity.

This impacts iphone normal behavior: Dynamic island is empty, you open an activity, let’s say voice memo recording, and it stays in the middle of the dynamic island. If openening another activity, for example flashlight, it opens on the side of the dynamic island.

Awake being already a non-stop dynamic island activity makes the iphone (from the user’s perspective) be able to hold only 1 activity, on the side

Not sure if this is intentional, but it seems invasive and altering normal ios behavior
