I would like to set a notification for my upcoming tasks more than three hours in advance. Even an option for a few weeks in advance would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone know why this was rejected? I understand they want to be a day planner but this small weak in allowing longer reminder periods, I can use this to plan my life. I just tried to add a movie I want to watch next week but a 3 hour reminder won´t be enough to get organized.

Yes, I really wish we could have reminders hours, days and even a week before.

Yes. Rather important to be able to set the alert of certain tasks some days or up to a week before as I also take note of meetings/appointments and I would need to be alerted for ex. 1 week before to do a number of subtasks before.

I agree with this. I would REALLY love and appreciate the option to set alerts to notify me a day or two before. Maybe even up to a week.
