Add keyboard handling to New Task start time and duration
Context:
After clicking the New Task (+) button on macOS app, I get a view where I can name the task (and change the task icon) and press continue → I am then able to pick a date, start time (vertical scroll time picker) and a task duration (horizontal slider).
Improvement:
I would like to use the keyboard arrow keys to change those respective controls as they seem like a natural mapping:
Vertical pair (up/down) would shift start time.
Horizontal pair (left/right) would shift task duration.
Current Behavior:
Keyboard arrow keys move cursor in task name field.
Reflection:
I think we can assume that because the user has already clicked continue after filling that field on the first screen, it’s no longer the user’s primary intent to modify the task name with arrow keys.
Furthermore, I believe this could be universal behavior across all device classes (for example when using a physical keyboard with an iPhone).
