Add date to widget

Would it be possible to add today’s date to the iPhone widgets? This would be very convenient since the date does not display anywhere else on the home screen.

This could also solve another problem. Right now, when I click the widget, there is no blank space to click, so I inadvertently end up clicking on the tasks and accidentally marking them as complete. The date would provide somewhere within the widget to click so you can open the app without marking anything as complete.

Right now I can see 3 upcoming tasks. It would be fine if I could only see the date + 1 or 2 upcoming tasks.

    This feedback is 11 months old, a glaring flaw, and my recent post was merged into this seemingly forgotten request. A commenter’s day was affected by it. Please?

    I arrived a day early to my dentist appointment because I only have one task at 9am today and the dentist appointment at 11am tomorrow. In the widget it looked like both were today. Having read the replies I see there is a ‘tell’ that it was not today’s task but even with my glasses on I am struggling to see it. Even just having “Monday” or “Tuesday” at the start of each would help (I love that it shows multiple days tasks - it allows me to prepare so I don’t want it to show only this days tasks). Even “Today”/“Tomorrow” (and “Later” maybe though I don’t think that’s really needed in the widget) would work.

    Otherwise, this is a great app!

    Currently, Structured will display all upcoming tasks. If the tasks displayed happen on the next day, it will be displayed by a little +1 next to the task’s time.
    To access Structured via the widget without checking off a task, you can simply tap the icon instead of the title.

      Thank you! Yes, I can currently click the task icon and it takes me to that specific task, and then I close it to see the day’s timeline. But ideally I could click the date and it would take me directly to the entire day’s timeline. I also have one of the smaller iPhone screens, so it’s easy for me to click in the wrong place.

      Either way, have the date would be an amazing feature! Thanks so much!
